Giovanni's, Covina's "Classy International" restaurant, delights customers with delicious cuisine and a warm welcome from owner, Linda Peterson. Giovanni's has been awarded the top "3 Stars" award by the California Restaurant Writers Association for it's superb innovative Italian Cuisine and a "3 Stars" award for their extensive and moderately priced wine list.

The menu combines regional Italian cuisine with some creative adaptions of International favorites. " We want to give our customers an adventure in flavor".Some of the traditional dishes take on a bit of extraordinary, served with baby vegetables and fresh asparagus, or fresh fish served on a bed of Baby Spinach.

Specialties, in addition to fresh pasta, deep fried bread with garlic and herbs, include homemade Italian Sausage, Ciopinnio, Veal Stew, Osso Bucco and Risotto, a combination of shrimp, calamari, mussels, chicken and pork, cooked in a spicy saffron rice. Paella, direct from Spain is offered nightly.

Lunch entrees come with soup of the day or green salad priced from $8.95 with a daily "express" menu, with 5 special entrees available at $ 5.95 . The express menus changes every 2 weeks.

Giovanni's Dinner at "Giovanni's" is designed to satisfy any budget and any occasion from a quick meal after work, to a casual dinner with friends or a " special evening out". Entrees priced from $10.95 include soup of the day or green salad with a choice of dressing. Some of the special entrees include the "Signature Filet Mignon", Stuffed Pork Chops, Lamb Shank, Rack of Lamb, Osso Bucco and many more.

Leave room for dessert, with choices that include Tiramisu, Apple Streudel and Flan all homemade. "Giovanni's" is proud to offer "Nana's authentic Italian Ice cream Gelatos in many flavors.

"Giovanni's" is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday beginning at 5:00 P.M.. Beer and wine are available from an extensive menu. The restaurant may be reserved for private parties of up to 60 people when it is closed to the public or up to 30 people during regular business hours.
